Didn't know Dora, but knew many of the Speerstra/West family through our life in Good Hope Lutheran Church (1981-1998). Sending our condolences; but also rejoicing in the peace that the Lord has promised knowing that she now resides in the Presence of her Lord and has been welcomed by many of her loved ones who have gone before. Hank: now she sees the real Jesus :) L

Donna, Henry & family, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She sounded like a really wonderful woman, was amazed at who's music she liked at her age, most of my elderly friends here wouldn't listen to Janis Joplin. I wish I could have known her, Heaven has a wonderful Angel. May God watch over you all during your grief.

I will always have fond memories of Aunt Betty. She was so good to me and I enjoyed the years of cleaning her house because we got to visit too!She made the best chocolate cake with white icing and would always whip one up for us at the river! My thoughts are with all her family at this time.

To all my cousins and their families grieving the death of their dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, I send my love and prayers. I have so many memories of all our gatherings at the farm and of Aunt Betty and Uncle Sam and the times our families were together. Praying for God's peace to be with you during your time of grief.

Donna, Karen, & Henry My thoughts are with you & your family . I will never forget my stops at your mom & dads porch for a visit as I pushed my bicycle up the hill from Oakwood as a child, PTA meetings at Tippery School, and dropping in on Sam & giving him a hand on the oil wells during on of my fishing excursions in Rockmere. Your parents were THE BEST !
