Our little brother, Thomas A. Wise of Cranberry, PA, took his last breath in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was the fourth child of the late Albert and Shirley (Culbertson) Wise. He was born June 27, 1957.
His infectious smile will be missed by his wife, Trudy (Bailey) Wise, whom he married September 9, 1996.
Also missing him will be his sister, Diane (Dennis) Montgomery of Franklin, Pa., brothers Daniel (Mary) Wise of Knox, Pa. , Rev. Richard (Cheryl) Wise of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
Tom was a graduate of Cranberry High School, Class of 1976.
He made many friends while working at the 8th Street Gulf Station in Franklin, Vision Quest, Walmart and Cranberry Mall.
He enjoyed learning about the Native American culture, often crafting jewelry, clothing and footwear in the Native American tradition, using natural materials.
Tom loved many pets in his lifetime, but was most fond of his rescue Pit Bull, Brewster.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the staff of VNA Hospice and Collins House for their kindness and compassion. Also, a special thank you to friends and family for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Hile-Best Funeral Home in Seneca is in charge of private arrangements. Per Tom’s wishes, there will be no viewing or public services.
The family suggests any memorial donations be sent to benefit The Collins Hospice House, c/o the Venango VNA Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin, PA 16323 ; or to a charity of personal choice.
