Sue Ann Miller

                Sue Ann Miller, 80, of Sandy Lake, passed away at UPMC Northwest in Seneca on Monday morning, May 20, 2024.

                She was born in Oil City on May 9, 1944 to the late Vaughn and Helen (Kuhls) Dehner. 

                She was a 1962 graduate of Oil City High School. 

                Sue was a member of the New Lebanon Community Church. 

                She enjoyed camping, bluegrass, quilting, sewing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. 

                She was employed by JC Penney in Oil City in the shoe department.  She later was employed at JoAnn Fabrics in Reno as the assistant manager.  Sue also owned and operated Miller's Ceramics in Reno.  She was very active in arts and crafts and enjoyed attending many craft shows. 

                She married Dennis L. Miller on July 15, 1964 in Grace United Methodist Church in Oil City, and he survives. 

                She is also survived by her children: Lisa (John) Miller of Magnolia, Texas, Trenni (Wayne) Byler of Linesville, and Brent (Michelle) Miller of Sandy Lake.  Sue is also survived by her grandchildren: Nick Miller and Lukas Miller of Magnolia, TX, Alex Byler and Austin Byler of Linesville, Tasha (Shane) Donahue of Cranberry Township, Heather Marshall of Amity, Zachary Bissell of Shenango Township, Hunter Miller of Franklin, and Noah, Mariah, Kira, and Ryker Miller all of Sandy Lake; and her great-granddaughter, Kinslee Donahue. 

                Sue is also survived by her brother Robert (Sona) Dehner of Benton, Louisiana; her sister Diane (Larry) Andres of Seneca; and her sister-in-law Helen Ann Dehner of Oil City.

                In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Dehner. 

                Visitation will be held Friday (May 24) from 5 - 7 p.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca.  A funeral service will follow in the funeral home Friday at 7 p.m. with Rev. Virginia LaVan Gadsby, pastor of New Lebanon Community Church, officiating.  Private interment will be made in Lamey Cemetery in Dempseytown. 

                The family requests that no floral arrangements be sent; memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
