A memorial service to Celebrate Becky's Life will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 1:00 p.m. at the Living Word Church, located at 1398 Rte. 157, Oil City, PA 16301. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Rebecca Faith "Becky" Roseberry Earp, 78, of Oil City, joined her loved ones already in Heaven on Sunday morning, August 24, 2025 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehab.
She was born August 20, 1947 in Oil City; a daughter of the late Pirl D. Oakes and Helen M. (Beers) Oakes Griffin.
Becky enjoyed music, singing, and playing the guitar. She attended worship for many years at Calvary Temple in Oil City, as well as The Living Word Church.
She also enjoyed mowing grass on the lawn tractor, having a nickname for everyone in the family, and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Becky worked as a cook for the Villa Restaurant and Toby's Pizza in Oil City; and cared for others by providing private in-home health care.
She is survived by two children: Stephen Roseberry of Pinegrove Township, and Penny Bimber and husband Danny of Oil City; six grandchildren: Natasha Shirey, Rachel Allen, Courtney Harvey, Alaina Engel, Heather Reynolds, and Taylor Thomas; and several great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two special friends, Sandy Erwin and Sharon Williams; her siblings: Lorraine Sparks and husband Vern, Timothy Oakes, and Cindy Hanna and husband Tom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Oakes.
There will be no visitation held. Private interment will be made in Heckathorn Cemetery in Seneca.
