Rebecca Anderson Obituary

                Rebecca Jo "Becky" Anderson, 67, of Oil City, died at Oil City Healthcare & Rehab on Friday, September 20, 2024, following a brief illness. 

                She was born in Oil City on October 31, 1956 to the late Clyde W. Neal, Sr. and Alberta L. (Hogue) Neal. 

                She was a graduate of Cranberry High School. 

                She was of the Christian faith. 

                In her earlier years, she enjoyed having horses and swimming.  Becky enjoyed coloring, puzzle books, Steelers football, and watching soap operas and wrestling.  Her favorite wrestler was Stone Cold Steve Austin. 

                She was married to Edward Wayne Anderson, and he survives. 

                She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Kathy Neal of Oil City, and her children Joe and Misti; her cousin, Tricia Scott and her husband Garey of Oil City and their children SaVanha Clark and Payten and Konor Scott; and two aunts, Laura Carson and Jean Neal.  Numerous other cousins also survive.  

                She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Clyde Neal, Jr.; and her grandparents, Lester and Dorthea Neal and Charles and Ada Hogue; and numerous aunts and uncles. 

                A funeral service will be held Tuesday (Sept. 24) at 11:30 a.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca.  Private interment will follow in Heckathorn Cemetery in Seneca. 

                In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oil City Healthcare & Rehab, 1293 Grandview Rd., Oil City, PA  16301.
