Margaret “Peg” Seigworth, 65, of Seneca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, surrounded by her immediate family.
Survived by her loving husband of 44 years, David Seigworth. Dear mother to Russell (wife Kelly) Seigworth and Ryan Seigworth (companion Hilary Sanford). Daughter of Jacqueline and the late Richard Stone ;and sister to Paula (James) Potter and Raymond Stone. Preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William A. and Betty Lee Seigworth. Sister-in-law to Delores (Tom) Wenner, late Bill (surviving Debbie) Seigworth, Denise (Rick) Falvo, and Bruce (Jeanne) Seigworth. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Peg graduated from Oil City High School in 1977 and spent most of her career at First United National Bank. She loved watching and attending Steelers games, enjoyed golfing, and was once an avid bowler. She cherished time with the people special to her, especially during camping trips to the races and many fishing trips to the family cabin in Quebec. Peg found joy in tending to her flowers and loved animals, especially cats, dogs, and birds.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday (Nov. 23) from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Travis Earp, pastor of The Living Word Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Venango County Humane Society, 286 S. Main St., Seneca PA 16346; or to a charity of one's choice.
