Lula Mae "Sis" Kockler, 84, of Franklin, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

World War II was raging when Lue was a young girl, and her three oldest brothers were in the midst of the fighting.  This led to a lifetime interest in the war and its battles.  She became a very knowledgeable historian on World War II.

She was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Kockler retired from Joy Manufacturing in Franklin as a computer systems analyst.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Eaton; and her second husband, James Kockler; three brothers, Lloyd, Otis, and Shurl Perry; and a sister, Gladys Glass.

She is survived by her brother, Gerald Perry, whom she adored; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Thursday (Feb. 21) from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township, where a funeral service will follow Thursday (Feb. 21) at 2 p.m. with Rev.
