Kenneth E. Stover, 80, of Fertigs, died Monday, July 6, 2026, at Shippenville Healthcare.
He was born in Oil City on June 8, 1946 to the late Eugene and Lillian (Pleger) Stover.
Ken served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He enjoyed watching birds, building bluebird boxes, woodworking, and hunting.
He began working as a barber before working at the Oil City Glass Plant. He then became a truck driver, and also worked for Timberline Tree Service.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine S. (Boocks) Stover; three children: Rod Stover and his significant other Melissa Rector, Renae Wise, and Randy Stover and his wife Kiley; his grandchildren: Tyler Stover and wife Nalisha, Kyle Stover, and Tiffany, Tasha, and Trista Wise; and 3 great-grandchildren: Danica and Daxon Stover and Carter Lowers. He is also survived by his nephew, Brian Aikens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Duer; and his nephew, Curtis Aikens.
A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family, officiated by Pastor Bud Welton. Interment will be made in Perry Cemetery in Fertigs.
