A memorial service will be held for Josephine (Jo) A. Kissinger on Saturday, June 6th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, PA. Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery in Oil City.
Jo Kissinger, age 93 and a long-time resident of Seneca, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Canon City, Colorado. The daughter of the late Mary Conner, Jo was born in Titusville, PA on December 6, 1932. She graduated from Titusville High School in 1951.
She married Robert (Bob) Kissinger of Oil City, PA on April 10, 1953 in St. Stephen Church in Oil City. Jo and Bob were married for 69 years.
Following her retirement from Quaker State, Jo enjoyed doing volunteer work around the Venango County area. She volunteered for many years for the Visiting Nursing Association, RSVP Venango County, and UPMC Northwest. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and other crafts. She loved dogs, especially her chihuahuas.
After moving to Colorado in 2016, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who called her GiGi.
Jo is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Randy Leeds; her granddaughter, Heather Leeds; her grandson, Richard Leeds and his wife Helen Oliver; and her great-grandchildren Ollie, Gemma, and Joey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husband Bob, and her daughter, Vicki.
