Joseph H. Eisenman, Sr., 79, of Seneca, passed away peacefully at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh on Monday afternoon, July 1, 2024.
He was born in Venus, Clarion County on November 8, 1944 to the late Stephen and Rose Eisenman.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 through 1967 and was stationed in Germany and France.
Joe was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman's Club.
He was employed at Joy Manufacturing and retired from Morris Brothers Lumber in Venus.
Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and was an avid gardener. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by his cat, "Ditty."
He was married on April 2, 1966 to the former Sally M. (Perry), and she survives.
Also surviving are three children: Joseph Eisenman, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico and his children Paris and Iris; Tina Anthony (Robert) of Centerville, PA and their children Ryan Eisenman, Stephanie Anthony, and Robert Anthony, Jr.; and Carrie Stevenson (Darren) of Tarpon Springs, Florida and their children Devin Stevenson of Knox and Dominic and Dylan Stevenson of Tarpon Springs.
Joe is also survived by three sisters: Barb Schettler of Shippenville, Jeanette Daugherty of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Karen Masci of Bemus Point, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Stephen, Alan, Bryan, and Dean Eisenman, and a sister, Christine Wilson.
