Jack E. Battin, Jr.

                Jack E. Battin, Jr., 64, of Oil City, died at his residence on Saturday evening, April 19, 2025, following a period of declining health. 

                He was born in Franklin on September 12, 1960 to the late Jack E. Battin Sr. and Anna E. (Sharpe) Battin. 

                Jack enjoyed going fishing, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.  He worked many years in the lumber industry as well as driving truck. 

                He is survived by a son, Joshua Battin; two sisters, Edith Rhodes and her husband Gregory, and Faith Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

                Jack was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Brian Battin; and a niece, Danielle Redburn. 

                At his request, there will be no visitation or service held.  Private interment will be made in the Rockland Cemetery at a later date.
