Edward A. Winger, 92, of Oil City, passed away early Friday morning, January 24, 2020 at Jefferson Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Jefferson Hills, Allegheny County.
Edward was born in Oil City on July 27, 1927. He was the son of the late Ralph and LaVada Morrison Winger. He was a member of the Oakland United Methodist Church. Mr. Winger enjoyed hunting. He served in United States Marine Corps and was a Korean War veteran.
Mr. Winger was married to the former Betty Mae Moon in Ninevah on January 22, 1949. Mrs. Winger preceded him in death on July 28, 2014.
Surviving is a son, Jeffrey Winger and his wife Debra A. of Pittsburgh, as well as number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Paul, and Kenneth, and a sister, Elaine Fischer.
