Edward B. Latshaw

Edward B. Latshaw, 79, of Cranberry, died at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in Cranberry on August 4, 1946, a son of the late Delbert and Phyllis (Perry) Latshaw.  

He was a graduate of Cranberry High School. 

Ed enjoyed bicycling, the outdoors, fishing, cooking, and tinkering and fixing things.  He loved spending time with his family, especially at cookouts and around a fire. 

He attended the Atlantic Ave. United Brethren Church in Franklin.

Ed was employed as a machinist and tool manufacturer for Oil Well Supply Co. for many years. 

He was married in the Hill City United Methodist Church on September 28, 1985 to Joyce E. Kulling, and she survives. 

Also surviving are three children: Eric Latshaw of Clarendon, Cyndi Nuhfer and her husband David of Oil City, and Amy Meabon and her husband Grant of Rouseville; a son-in-law, Bruce Sharrar of Butler; and ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda; a daughter, Stacey Sharrar; two brothers, Larry and Russell Latshaw; and his sister, Jeanne Ritts. 

Visitation will be held Saturday (April 25) from 11 a.m. until noon at Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, where a funeral service will follow Saturday at Noon.  Pastor Ryan Advent of Atlantic Ave. Church will officiate.  Private interment will be made in Heckathorn Cemetery in Seneca.
