Donald W. Knight, 78, of Seneca, died at his residence following a period of declining health on Sunday morning, March 18, 2018.
He was born in Oil City on June 29, 1939 to the late Jesse and Cora (Gardner) Knight.
Don graduated from Cranberry High School before serving four years in the U.S. Air Force.
He enjoyed painting figurines, woodworking, and flower gardening.
Mr. Knight had been employed by Snyder Electric, Electralloy, and Mooney Chemicals.
He was married in Cooperstown on January 27, 1968 to the former Donna J. Huffman, and she survives, along with six children: Charles White of Oil City, Margaret Rogers and her husband Ed of Oil City, Bob White and his wife Diane of London, England, Donald V. Knight and his wife Michelle of Seneca, Darlene Emert of DuBois, and Marlene Haupt and her husband Tim of Fryburg. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
There will be no visitation or services held.
