Dianne Bevier Obituary

              Dianne Louise Bevier, 80, of Cranberry, formerly of Oil City, died at UPMC Northwest in Seneca on Wednesday night, December 4, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. 

            She was born in Grove City on December 13, 1938 to the late Donald Kenneth and Louise (Seyler) Rodgers. 

            She was a 1958 graduate of Oil City High School. 

            Dianne was a member of the former First Baptist Church in Oil City, where she was active with the Women's Fellowship. 

            Dianne enjoyed traveling, and watching her grandchildren's sporting events.  She was an excellent caretaker and provided care in her home for her father-in-law and her parents.

            Mrs. Bevier was employed for many years in the business office at Oil City Hospital.  She retired as a billing clerk from Franklin Hospital in 1993.

            She was married in Oil City at the First Baptist Church on July 16, 1960 to Richard J. Bevier, and he survives.  Also surviving is a daughter, Linda Rice and her husband Tim of Franklin; and a son, Doug Bevier and his wife Jodi of Rocky Grove; five grandchildren: Brianna Bevier and her friend Jace Junk, Haydon Bevier, Latasha Scharff, Nick Rice, and Tommy Cutchall. 

            Also surviving are two sisters, Judith Ann Rembold and her husband Jim of Oil City, and Deborah Shiley and her husband Bill of Senoia, Georgia; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Bevier of Neiltown, Marilyn Creacraft of Centerville, and Dorothy Rodgers of Sligo; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

            In addition to her parents, Donald and Louise Rodgers, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Joyce Yeager; and a brother, Kenneth Robert Rodgers. 

            No public services will be observed.  A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. 

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oil City Salvation Army, 217 Sycamore St., Oil City, PA  16301.
