Dennis G. "Denny" Klugh, 71, of Seneca, died at his residence on Thursday afternoon, February 6, 2025, following a period of declining health.
He was born in Oil City on November 6, 1953 to the late Harvey "Hud" and Laura (Huff) Klugh.
He was a 1972 graduate of Oil City High School, and attended Venango County Vo-Tech, studying auto body repair.
He was a member of the Petrolia Masonic Lodge #363 in Oil City.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Denny enjoyed R.C. cars, drag racing, sprint cars, and NASCAR, as well as golfing. He had a love for animals. Denny had a nickname for everyone, and would do just about anything for anybody in need. He also took great pride in caring for his home and having a well-manicured lawn.
Denny grew up helping in his family business, Klugh Auto Body in Seneca. He took the business over in the early 90’s and operated it until his retirement in 2016.
He was married in Seneca on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2003 to the former Tammy Wolfe, and she survives.
Also surviving is his sister, Connie Jackson of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Nancy Wolfe of Seneca; a brother-in-law, Jim Wolfe, Jr. of Oil City; and two sisters-in-law, Patty Karns of Seneca and Pat Klugh of Florida.
In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by a brother, Dannie Klugh; a sister, Carolyn Hare; his father-in-law, Jim Wolfe, Sr.; a sister-in-law, Tina Wolfe; and a nephew, Todd Hare.
According to his wishes, his body was donated to science to further medical studies and research.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday (Feb. 15th) from 1-3 p.m. at Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date and details will be announced when they are available.
Denny's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the many friends and neighbors, as well as Dr. Jay Stevens, and the VNA Visiting Nurses, for their care and support.
