Debra L. (Morrison) Trent, age 66, of Oil City, went to her Eternal Home on Monday morning, December 8, 2025, at Oil City Healthcare, following a battle with Alzheimer's Dementia.
She was born in Oil City on April 13, 1959 to the late John R. and Patricia L. (Delahunty) Morrison. Debra grew up in the Siverly neighborhood.
She was a 1977 graduate of Oil City High School.
While married to her former husband, Tom Prichard, she enjoyed spending time with her Dempseytown family.
Debra enjoyed sports and was active in bowling and softball leagues.
Debra worked locally at First Seneca Bank, but while vacationing in Florida, she had a job interview and decided to stay there for 26 years. She worked at Sun Bank in Florida and then dedicated her life to working at various Christian schools in Florida, retiring from Highland Christian Academy, when her health began declining. She then moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family, and for most of that time, she resided with her sister, Pam, and her family.
Debra is survived by her daughter, Megan Trent Davis, of Virginia; her sister, Pam Bowersox and her husband Dan, and their grandchildren, Collin and Addison; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Debra had many lifelong, loving friendships, including her sister in Christ, Mary Beth Carver, whom she worked with at the Christian schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pat Morrison; and a brother, Scott Morrison.
Visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday (December 11) from 5 - 7 p.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, where a service to celebrate her life will follow Thursday at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bud Welton, AseraCare Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Private interment will be made in Shaw Farm Cemetery in Oil City.
Debra's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to her neighbors and caregivers for their care and support during her illness.
