Cynthia L. "Cindy" Bruner

                Cynthia L. "Cindy" Bruner, 61, of Cooperstown, died at her home on Friday, March 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

                She was born July 8, 1963 in Titusville to Robert L. Reisinger of Arizona and the late Judith A (Weaver) Reisinger. 

                She was born and raised in Titusville until the age of 16, and then moved to Oil City, where she graduated with the class of 1981.  She was also a graduate of the 1990 Vo-Tech LPN (Nursing) Program. 

                As an LPN, she worked at Oakwood Heights for 22 years, and ended her nursing career at Sugarcreek Station in 2022. 

                In her free time, Cindy enjoyed spending time by the pool with her beloved grandchildren and family.  She also loved helping her husband raise several Rottweilers over the years. 

                She was married on October 20, 1989 to Theodore "Ted" Bruner, Jr., and he survives.

                Also surviving are her children, Jeffrey A. Bruner and his wife Stef of Seneca, Arielle J. Bruner and her fiancé Roy Deloe, of Seneca, Samantha D. Gadsby and her husband Jeremiah of Oil City, and Hunter J. Bruner and his significant other Elise Goodall of Cooperstown. She is also survived by a special friend that she considered a daughter, Billijo Simmons; and a step-daughter, Randi Miller.  She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Colby Fry, Rilee Bruner, and Bryan Deloe of Seneca, Leah Knox, Piper Bruner, Skyler Green, and Brantley Gadsby of Oil City, and Chastity, Aerionna, Noah, and Kyler Bosley. 

                Cindy is survived by her sisters, Cheryll Smalley and her significant other Dan Niederriter of Franklin, Dede Smith and her husband Keith of Niles, Ohio, Nannette Gilbert and her husband Jeff of Washington state, Wendy Adams and her husband Tim, Michelle Osborn and her husband Fred, and Nicole Reisinger, all of Tucson, Arizona; her sisters-in-law, Jennifer Bruner, Karen Gilbert (Ronald); and brother-in-law, Richard Bruner; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ray and Paula Lawrence. 

                She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith A. Reisinger; a sister, Mary Jane Boyle; her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Weaver; and her paternal grandparents, Lee and Beaulah Reisinger. 

                Visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday (March 20) from 2 - 6 p.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca.  The Oil Region Nurse Honor Guard will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in honor of Cindy's dedicated career in the nursing field.
