Carolyn Clark Obituary

          Carolyn D. Clark, 70, of Venus, Pinegrove Township, died Monday night, June 17, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. 

          She was born in Oil City on July 16, 1948 to the late Vernal and Marguerite (Whitsel) Dunmire.

          She was a graduate of Cranberry High School. 

          In her earlier years, Carolyn enjoyed fishing at Two Mile Run Park.  She enjoyed spending time with her family. 

          Carolyn was a dedicated homemaker to her loving family. 

          She was married at Calvary United Methodist Church in Oil City on September 19, 1970 to Terry L. Clark, and he survives. 

          Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Dulaney and her husband James of Franklin, and Heather Hall and her husband George of Franklin; five grandchildren: James Dulaney Jr., Nickolas Dulaney, William Dulaney, Samantha Jones and her husband James, and Nathan Hall.  Carolyn is also survived by her siblings: Kathie Trodgon of North Carolina, Robert Dunmire and his wife Ella of Venus, and Judy Bunnell of Oil City; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vernal Dunmire, Jr.; and an infant sister, Donna Dunmire. 

          A visitation and funeral service will be held privately for the family.  Private interment will be in Graham Cemetery in Sandycreek Township.
