Carole J. Stanley

                Carole J. Stanley, 84, of Seneca, died at Oakwood Heights Village in Oil City on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

                She was born in Titusville on May 10, 1940 to the late Frank and Helen (Wagner) Rickenbrode.

                She was a 1959 graduate of Cranberry High School. 

                She attended Faith Baptist Church in Seneca. 

                Carol enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, going to Women's Bible Study, and spending the winter months in Florida. 

                She was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family. 

                Carol was married in Venus on June 30, 1962 to Larry H. Stanley, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2022.

                She is survived by her daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Wygant and her husband Jamie of Conneaut, Ohio; two grandchildren, Cassidy Wygant, and Jacob Wygant and his girlfriend Grace; a sister, Marilyn Felmlee and her husband Tom of Seneca; a brother-in-law, Steve Hale of Tionesta; a special niece, Lisa Gilbert; a special nephew, Gregg Felmlee; and numerous other nieces and nephews. 

                In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Hale; and a sister-in-law, Donna Heffern and her husband Bill. 

                Visitation will be held Saturday (Dec. 7) from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, where a funeral service will follow Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sam Wagner, officiating.  Private interment will be in the Heckathorn Cemetery in Seneca.
