You do not know me but I lost my son almost 4 years ago to this terrible disease. My heart breaks for you because there are no words to describe the pain and I will keep your family in my prayers. I belong to a parent support group and if at some point you would like to come you are welcome, it helps to talk to others who have been through this.

The service was lovely today. She will be greatly missed. I wanted to let you know I saw a cardinal today, a beautiful red. They say ones you've lost will visit you and let you know they are okay in form of the cardinal. I believe it was a message from her, saying she's in peace and is okay. So sad! I do not know this woman or anyone in her family. Thank you for having the courage to put the reason for her untimely death in the obituary. Hopefully, it will help another young person realize what the result of their addiction will do to the people who love them. I can not imagine the pain of losing a child. I have a 23 year old son and it scares me to think this will happen to him.

I want to commend you on publishing the reason for her passing, people need to know what an epidemic this is. This could be one of my children or grandchildren. Oh Rain you took a piece of my heart with you. RIP I still cant believe it. My memories are just a flowing like a swarm. We went to homecoming together. Even though i wasnt in your school anymore. You introduced me to Nic so we all could go to homecoming. Then the day I wrecked my car. I left work to come hang out with you and rolled my car four times. You drove by my car telling Jeremiah you thought that was my car and he said no way and then your dad told you I had just left the house to go see you. You crawled up in my hospital bed crying saying I thought you were dead and you laid in my hospital bed with me. Hugging me for hours. The summers we spent together at your house. Oh Rainey it cant be true. The last time I saw you was on your porch you ran up to me a hugged me and said please when u move to mississippi dont be a stranger..... The days in Clarion we lived at eachothers house if i knew that was the last days I was going to see you I would of never let you go.. 😭😭😭😭
