While raising and caring for her family, she was a dedicated homemaker before owning and operating a machining and fabricating shop in Glassport for many years.

She was married in Munhall on April 28, 1962 to Leonard J. Fry, and he survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Dan Fry and his partner Valerie Felicetti of Morgantown, West Virginia; and Ken Fry and his wife Connie of Seneca; four grandchildren, Brandon, Baylee, and Riley Fry, and Nicholas Brandi; two brothers, Albert Thomka of Tampa, Florida, and Chuck Thomka and his wife Mary Lou of Bullhead City, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Thomka.
