Joshua W. Shields

            Joshua William Shields, 30, of Seneca, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 29, 2018. 

            He was born in Pittsburgh on April 15, 1988 to Charles "Jack" Shields and Janie Dalton. 

            Josh attended Cranberry Area schools. 

            He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and working on vehicles.  He also enjoyed music, especially AC/DC and Ozzy; and taught himself to play many of their songs on the guitar. 

            He was currently employed as a mechanic at K.D. Auto Repair in Cranberry. 

            Josh was a dedicated caretaker to his parents, due to their health issues. 

            He is survived by his parents, Charles "Jack" Shields and Janie Dalton, of Seneca.  Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

            He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ruth Dalton; and Dennis J. Shields and Mary Helen Baker Shields. 

            Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate Josh's life on Sunday, July 15th from 2 - 4 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. 

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist the family with funeral expenses may be made to Hile-Best Funeral Home, P.O. Box 245, Seneca, PA  16346.  Donations may also be made online by clicking on the green 'Donate' tab, located under Josh's photo on this page.
