May God bless her family. My memories of her are special. She told me that when I grew up to be an artist, I could come to show her class some of my artwork. Little 6 year old that I was, I said, "I couldn't do that, because by then she would be in a rocking chair." I have now been a pastor for 30 years, and will always treasure that first year in school, and proud that Miss Exley was my teacher!
