Rosella M. Daly

Rosella M. Daly, 61, of East Second Street in Oil City, died early Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Titusville on April 8, 1955 to Lillian L. (Lester) Vanderhoof and the late Thomas Kelly, Jr.

She graduated high school in Florida.

Rosella was a good-hearted woman, lending a helping hand to others anytime that she could. Her family was the most important thing to her and she enjoyed her grandchildren immensely, and always looked forward to attending family gatherings, picnics, and reunions. Rosella was also known in the family for her extensive pig collection.

Mrs. Daly was of the catholic faith.

In her earlier years, she was employed as a bus driver for Baker Transportation, before becoming a dedicated homemaker to her family.

Rosella was married in Titusville on April 18, 1988 to Harold S. "Hank" Daly, and he survives.

Also surviving is her mother, Lillian L. Vanderhoof of Titusville; six children, Valerie Sutton, Robert Sutton and his wife Amanda, Theresa Migdal, Amanda Migdal, Keesha Daly, and Jason Daly; and numerous loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additionally surviving are four sisters, Phyllis Yowell, Peggy Kinney, Tina Paul and her husband Gus, and Barbara Kelly; two brothers, James Kelly and his wife Karen and Victor Vanderhoof and his wife Billie Jo; and numerous step-brothers and step-sisters, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Kelly, Jr., and her former husband, Everett Sutton.

There will be no visitation or funeral service held.

Private interment will be in the Rockland Cemetery in Kennerdell.

The Hile-Best Funeral Home in Seneca, Cranberry Township is completing funeral arrangements.
