Robert R. "Bob" Harrah, 76, of Hill City Road in Seneca, died at 8:10 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. 

                He was born to the late Curry and Eileen (Freer) Harrah in Franklin on July 25, 1939.

                Bob was a 1958 graduate of Franklin High School.  He then became employed as a roller for Franklin Steel and retired in 2000 following 43 years of service. 

                He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, automobiles, and building Jeeps.  Through the years, Bob enjoyed the companionship of his many pets. 

                Bob was known for stopping by to visit and keep in touch with his family and friends, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. 

                Mr. Harrah was married in Oil City on February 26, 1966 to the former Lorraine I. Kightlinger, and she survives.  They were blessed to have celebrated fifty years of marriage together in February. 

                Also surviving are two daughters, Misty Harrah and her fiancé William Westland of Pittsburgh, and Nicole Rickard and her husband Marc of Seneca; a granddaughter, Abigail "Abby" Rickard of Seneca; a brother, Wayne Harrah and his wife Linda of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Steven Kightlinger.   

                In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Curry Harrah, Jr.

                In accordance with Bob's wishes, there will be no visitation.  A private memorial service will be held in the near future for the immediate family. 

                Funeral arrangements are being completed by Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc. in Seneca, Cranberry Township.
