Larry L. Maloney, 63, of Oil City, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016.

He was born in Seneca on June 10, 1952 to Goldie A. (Strain) Maloney and the late Kenneth Maloney.

Larry attended Cranberry High School.

He and his wife attended worship at the East Troy United Methodist Church near Titusville.

Larry enjoyed going to his granddaughter's softball games and other events, and also enjoyed taking trips to the casinos.

Mr. Maloney was employed in his earlier years by Brown Boiler and Tanks in Franklin, and later with Joy Manufacturing as a machine operator.

He was married in Seneca on July 23, 1971 to the former Nancy U. Wise, and she survives.

Also surviving is his mother, Goldie A. Maloney of Seneca; a daughter, Sherry L. Barcinas and her husband Glenn of Seneca; and two granddaughters, Sarah and Natalie Barcinas.

Two brothers also survive, Dave Maloney and his wife Dottie and Joe Maloney and his wife Sandy, all of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Maloney, and a special friend, George Dunkle.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday (May 10th) from 2 - 6 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home Tuesday at 6 p.m. with Rev. Dale Hallaway, pastor of East Troy U.M. Church, officiating.

Private interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Cranberry.
