Joyce Best Obituary

Joyce Leona Best, 69, of Cranberry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Callensburg on May 9, 1948 to Patricia (Amsler) Best of Cranberry and the late Orval Best.

She graduated from Cranberry High School in 1968.

Joyce worked as a nurse's aide for ten years at the Franklin Hospital. She also worked at Kings Restaurant in Reno.

Joyce had a passion for animals, enjoyed reading books about Native American Indians, and collecting lighthouses.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Best of Cranberry; two brothers, Walter Best and his wife Barb of Emlenton, and Kenneth Best and his wife Louise of Oil City; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Best and Sandra Kysor; an aunt, Charlotte Thiess of San Leandro, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Armand; and two sisters, Vicki and Joan.

There will be no visitation or funeral service held. Private interment will be in the Callensburg Cemetery, Clarion County.

The Hile-Best Funeral Home in Seneca, Cranberry Township completed funeral arrangements.
